by Adz Mclean, Roverscope Co-ordinator

Applications are closing soon. Don't miss out on Roverscope 06.

The Australian Venture is held every three years, at a different location within Australia. It’s aim is to bring Venturers from all over the country together to have fun, meet new friends and expose themselves to different activities and new challenges. The 13th Australian Venture is being held at Sydney Scout Park (Cataract), NSW from the 3rd –14th January 2006, with the theme of “Friends, Fun and freedom”

Roverscope is part of the onsite activities held at the Venture, and as such comes under the Activities Directorate. It’s aims are to provide Venturers and Leaders that attend the Venture with somewhere fun to hang out and provide fun and exciting games and activities. However, its primary aim is to promote Rovers to all Venturers and Leaders, and to encourage them to come up to Rovers in their respective States, through a fun, interactive and laid back environment.
