Rover Fun Guide

 

The National Rover Council recognised that unfortunately its a common situation for a lot of Rover Crews in Australia that when it comes to setting the program for the year, it is sometimes hard to come up with new and interesting activities for their members and commenced compiling together a set of GREAT Rover Crew based activities. This meant drawing together from far and wide the experiences of current Rovers, Rover Advisors and booted Rovers from Australia and New Zealand.

 

After receiving many suggestions, it was a matter of grouping and editing, ensuring that we had GREAT suggestions, not only a collection of ok ones and compiling them together into the ‘Rover Fun Guide: Great things to do with your Rover Crew’. This has then been professionally designed to make it an interesting and easy to use publication that any Rover Crew can pick up and immediately pull together a great fun Rover Crew activity.

Every Rover Crew in Australia and New Zealand received a printed copy late in 2005 and can benefit from the collective experiences of other Rovers. The Branch Rover Councils also have some spares for the new Rover Crews that will start up over the next few years. Some examples of the categories covered in the Rover Fun Guide include:
